Safe-D student and graduate research assistant at VTTI, Alexis Basantis, visited Sudley Elementary in Manassas, VA on April 9th to showcase transportation research.
On April 9th, Safe-D student Alexis Basantis showcased a 2013 Tesla Model S to the students of Sudley Elementary in Manassas, VA.
She presented the vehicle to 5 classes of second grade students and explained how the vehicle worked and how it can improve driving safety. She demonstrated the Auto-Park and Summon features of the vehicle and fielded questions from the students about self-driving cars and the work being done at VTTI.
