Two students at TTI were selected as TTI Employee Award winners for their work on Safe-D projects in 2019.
TTI Employee Awards are given annually to master’s and doctoral graduate research assistants. Supervisors nominate deserving students and applications are reviewed by an anonymous panel of senior TTI Research staff. This year two students who have been research assistants on Safe-D projects were selected:
- Roshan Sharma, Master’s Student of the year: Project 01-006: Implications of Truck Platoons for Roadside and Vehicle Safety Hardware
- Maryam Dastigiri Shirinzad, Doctoral student of the year: Project TTI-Student-02: Development of Analytic Method to Determine Weaving Patterns for Safety Analysis near Freeway Interchanges with Access Management Treatments (TTI/TAMU)
Congratulations to our Safe-D students on their awards!
