Safe-D student Soheil Sohrabi (TAMU) was named a 2020 Lifesavers Traffic Safety Scholar.
Soheil was awarded a $1,000 Scholarship to attend the 38th annual Lifesavers National Conference on Highway Saftey Priorities in Tampa, Florida March 15-17, 2020. Fifty students from around the world were meticulously selected to attend the conference. The conference is the nation’s largest highway safety conference focused on eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries for those on the roadways. The Lifesavers three-day conference will feature nearly 100 workshops as well as keynote speeches from some of the nations leading experts on highway safety. Soheil Sohrabi is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in civil engineering at Texas A&M University.
