USDOT’s University Transportation Centers (UTC) program as part of the Office of Research, Development and Technology, in collaboration with the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS/JPO), presented a series of video forums focused on emerging technologies and research in transportation.
A Safe-D project, Development of an Infrastructure Based Data Acquisition System (iDAS) to Naturalistically Collect the Roadway Environment ,was one of a few project videos featured in the forum to provide a snapshot of research activities with a focus on how the research is being applied in the real world to benefit the traveling public.
